Sankofa Celebration!

LES Teens attended the CAS Sankofa black heritage celebration where several of our participants blessed the stage with poetry and film. We watched some great performances and ate amazing food!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Tionna who was accepted to Howard University and to Efia who was also accepted to a college here in New York! Great accomplishment!

CONGRATULATIONS to Desiree and Lizbeth who tied in our European Geography Contest in Academics! And again to Desiree who won the rematch and an H&M gift certificate.

CONGRATULATIONS to Angel who begins his first semester at City Tech College.

CONGRATULATIONS to Donald for receiving high work praises in his current job working for school maintenance! That's going to be great for your resume!
